Essential Parfums took off in 2018 under the impetus of Géraldine Archambault, going against the grain of the perfume industry.
With a passion for perfumes and 30 years of industry experience, Géraldine founded Essential Parfums with a bold vision: to democratize access to fine perfumery while honoring the artistry of perfumers.

Exceptional sustainable fragrances at fair prices

Through this manifesto, Géraldine addresses the paradoxes of this complex and often opaque industry:
Why are creative fragrances so expensive?
Why do the talents of perfumers remain hidden behind brand names?
And why does marketing so often overshadow the true creative value of perfumes?

Géraldine Archambault realized her dream by returning to the essentials. She put fragrance and the perfumers' talents at the heart of her creative process, eliminating unnecessary packaging, marketing, and commercial intermediaries whenever it is possible. She naturally incorporated sustainable development as a core principle of her creative philosophy. By doing so, she achieved her ideal balance: exceptional sustainable fragrances at fair prices.

A very personal vision of niche perfumery

Inspired by the generosity and accuracy of the ethos, the world's top perfumers eagerly joined our journey.

From Calice Becker and Sophie Labbé to Antoine Maisondieu and Bruno Jovanovic, from Quentin Bisch and Nathalie Lorson to Fabrice Pellegrin and Natalie Gracia-Cetto, and the late Olivier Pescheux, the industry's most renowned "noses" embraced the freedom of a blank canvas, imprinting their talents and signatures on our bottles and packaging. At Essential Parfums, they are the true artists who take center stage.
