A key figure in contemporary perfumery, he has created some of the most memorable fragrances of recent decades. Sometimes referred to as ‘the master of flowers’, you may have guessed that we are talking about Dominique Ropion.

We are at IFF in Neuilly, not far from Paris, the city where Dominique Ropion was born, grew up, and which he loves deeply. With him, we will travel back in time: from the scents of his childhood to his first successes, via his olfactory shocks, his favourite materials, and of course the creation of Velvet Iris, the fragrance he recently created for Essential Parfums.
